Community Base Conservation


1. Interacts with community members to make them aware of the conservation of wildlife in our Ecosystem by involving them in events in conservation.

2. Social empowerment of youth to encourage them on the benefit of conserving the environment.

3.Volunteers to participate on abolished snares which is the silent way of wildlife decline.

4. Everyone to oppose poaching by collecting information to the Kenya wildlife service office through contacting us as local informants or community scouts.

5. Maa Silver CBC has been working with herders groups to develop wildlife management, protection, and monitoring plans in their community-managed areas. Herders and Research volunteers learn to rotate their pastures and enforce wildlife protection laws against illegal hunting.
